3 Devotional Books for Busy Moms

Last night was exhausting. P got up around 3:15 with a stomachache and never went back to bed. C got up around 3:45 for some water, but thankfully he went back to sleep. I was in and out from the time P got up until about 6:15, so needless to say, I was too tired to do my quiet time this morning.

Quiet time is pretty crucial to our sanity as well as our relationship with the Lord. Whether you listen to worship music, read your bible, write in a journal, or go through a devotional — we need this quiet time. But as stay-at-home moms, we don’t always have a ton of time for this with all of the distractions of our kids.

I’ve rounded up a few devotionals for moms that really don’t take all that long to go through, but still leave you with a good message.

I loved all three of these devotionals because they were short, to the point, and made me think. Of the three, You Are Free was probably my favorite. I love how the author was relatable and gave me questions to consider at the end of each chapter. It was a little longer to go through each day than the other two, but I loved it so much that I sacrificed part of nap time {{GASP!}} to do this study.

What are some of your favorite devotionals? I’d love to compile them for my own reading list!
