This post is the first in a series that will be developed into a book gift guide for you! Stay tuned for more posts in the near future.

What’s not to love about trains? They’e massive, they run on a track, and they make fun sounds.

When P was about six months old, we started putting Chuggington on TV in the background (mamas who refuse screen time please move along to the next paragraph!). His love affair with trains began there and moved on to Thomas & Friends, The Polar Express, magnetic trains, train books, and more.

If you have a little train lover and are looking for books to use for a train theme or to purchase as a gift, I’ve assembled a list of eight fun train books for you.
